In this role, you’ll plan, organize, and conduct therapy programs to support the development and rehabilitation of individuals with mental, physical, or emotional disabilities. Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and organize occupational therapy programs.
• Provide home programming for patients and their families.
• Recommend modifications to work or living environments.
• Evaluate patient progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Interact professionally with patients and families, involving them in treatment planning.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain department cleanliness.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Conduct training programs on therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive care.
• Attend training sessions and meetings.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Manage appointments and client sessions.
• Support research projects and community education initiatives.

Qualifications:

• CPR certification
• Annual TB Skin test
• Active Occupational Therapist License
• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a calm, positive attitude
