Job Type: Contract on W2 (H1 Transfers are allowed)
Duration: 12 months
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic React.js Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality front-end interfaces using React.js, collaborating with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to deliver exceptional web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional components
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a range of devices and browsers
- Participate in code reviews and agile development processes
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6
- Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Context API)
- Familiarity with React Hooks and functional components
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite
- Ability to write unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of Next.js or other React frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Previous experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, etc.) is a plus
