Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist shop coordinators and service technicians as needed to maintain efficient shop operation
- Make necessary deliveries to customers which can include an extensive amount of drive time within reason
- Assist with upkeep and maintenance of shop equipment
- Support warehouse activities including re-organizing and unloading/loading trucks
- General shop duties: painting, parts washing, forklift operation
- Assembly of skid units and industrial equipment
- Interpreting assembly drawings and measurements
- Must possess good communication and organizational skills and be able to listen to others
- Must be professional at all times and consistent in his personal behavior
- Must demonstrate knowledge of hand tools and basic production machinery
- Must be willing to undertake additional training as the company deems necessary to maintain technical understanding to new and/or improved tools or techniques
- Must maintain a safety awareness attitude at all times
- Must be willing to assist individuals from other departments
Qualifications:
- Some experience working with rotating equipment necessary
- Prior experience with handle tools/power tools
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication
- Experience operating industrial machinery properly
- Understand measurements and assembly drawings
- Able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical
- Must have acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted/100 lbs. assisted. Must pass physical and lift assessment. Ability to stand for most of the day.
Shift time/Overtime: 7:30 am-4:30 pm
Training certifications: Forklift Certified preferred
