Electronic Security Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring that our electronic systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic systems including CCTV and low voltage systems.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for building and repairing electronic devices.
• Conduct field service operations to diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop solutions for complex electronic problems.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any necessary follow-up actions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients regarding the operation of their electronic systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to electronics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
• Familiarity with computer networking principles and practices.
• Experience in cabling installation and maintenance.
• Certification in electronics or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently in field service environments while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
