TOOL CRIB ATTENDANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The tool crib serves as the centralized hub for managing, storing, issuing, and maintaining all tooling and related equipment necessary for machining operations. It plays a critical role in ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and regulatory compliance by supplying the right tools, in the right condition, at the right time.

The tool crib supports production by maintaining accurate inventories of cutting tools, holders and fixtures. It is responsible for assembling complete tool setups according to engineering specifications and setup sheets, helping reduce machine downtime and setup errors.

Additionally, the tool crib ensures that all tools meet industry standards through proper calibration tracking, documentation, and preventive maintenance. By maintaining traceability and standardizing tooling processes, the tool crib contributes directly to product quality, operational efficiency, and safety.

THIS POSITION IS 2ND SHIFT.
