Job Description: Valet

Location: Chattanooga, TN, 37312

Skills Required:

• Directing traffic
• Ensuring vehicles are parked in the correct areas
• Preventing unauthorized parking
• Writing tickets for vehicles that violate parking rules
• Calculating the cost of parking and accepting payment from customers
• Keeping the parking area clean
• Reporting dangerous conditions
• Answering questions and providing directions to customers
• Helping pedestrians cross the street
• Performing minor repairs, such as changing a tire or jump starting a car

Parking attendants typically work at the entrance and exit of a parking structure. They may need to be able to work nights and weekends, and have patience for dealing with crowds.
