Dynamis is seeking a Junior Technical Editor to support a government client.
Responsibilities :
Advising and assisting authors during the writing stage;
Examining the organization, length, and tone of the material;
Editing the text for grammar, clarity, syntax, format, style, and 508 compliance;
Consulting on design and graphics;
Ensuring that documents meet client requirements and guidelines; and
Assisting in the preparation of material for printing.
Requirements :
BA or BS degree, preferably in English or Journalism
U.S. Citizenship
1-3 years of experience conducting technical writing / editing
Experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Must be able to work on multiple taskers concurrently
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a DHS Headquarters Suitability
Experience working with style guides preferred
