Dynamis Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Analyst with an active TS/SCI (ability to pass a poly) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, audit remediation and operational sustainment support within the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.
Responsibilities:
- Executing the day-to-day accounting and audit activities of the engagement and conducting fieldwork daily.
- Gathering audit related data.
- Applying innovative methodologies that support an audit.
- Perform federal financial reporting, general ledger analysis, and serve as an audit liaison.
- Assist with the remediation of any identified issues during the audit process.
- Identify and implement financial process improvements through automation.
- Document and test internal controls over financial reporting or improper payments in accordance with FMFIA, PIIA, and OMB Circular A-123.
- Determine the value of capital assets.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Federal Financial Reporting.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or other related field required.
- Active TS/SCI with ability to pass a Polygraph required.
- Minimum of 6 years of accounting and auditing experience or financial management.
- Experience working on financial statement audits.
- Experience working with Federal Government and/or DoD clients preferred.
- CPA, CIA, CFE, CGFM, or CDFM Certification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and results oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis software.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
