What You’ll Do:

As a Data and Automation Specialist, you will be r esponsible for driving data-led insights that enhance financial decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and support business performance across all areas of the finance, commercial, supply chain & procurement functions. Other duties include:

• Ensures that teams and senior leadership have timely, reliable, and actionable data to support strategic, operational, and commercial outcome s
• Develop and maintain finance-related data models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting.
• Responsible for supporting and implementing integrations of applications across the company for reporting to improve company decision making and determining future needs
• Assist with development of governance standards for financial and operational data to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Design and deliver dashboards, visualizations, and performance metrics to provide transparency over key business drivers
• Partner with Commercial and Operations teams to provide analytical support
• Support advanced analytics to improve forecasting, scenario modelling, and strategic planning.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives through well governed project management processes, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project leadership. This includes collaboration with the HSEOE and local finance teams to automate capital spend tracking and forecasting
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and standardization across the finance function.
• Attend S4Hana data design workshops and provide input to establish strong foundation for future automated reporting
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders
• Provide benchmarking, profitability, and value-driver analysis to support corporate strategy and long-term planning.
• Drive adoption of automated reporting through management of change processes, supporting team capability uplift, and relevant training to end-users.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Data Science / IT / Finance or relevant years’ experience
• 3 years experience in data analytics, BI development, or financial analytics.
• Experience implementing data integrations and pulling data from several different application systems
• Proficient in Power BI, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Stakeholder engagement and communication – ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to think strategically driving next steps and future data needs, along with working transactionally in the day to day data.
