Position Description
DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Project Engineer capable of supporting both on-going and emerging federal defense and commercial contracts. Desired work location is Irvine, CA.
This position requires experience in executing federal research and development (R&D) contract. This position requires a person that can both develop process and work within defined procedures, to include government requirements. The successful candidate must have experience interfacing with a wide range of internal disciplines, customers, and active subcontractors. Specific demonstrated experience in project financials tracking, data and hardware deliverable management, and subcontractor management is desired. The successful candidate will have a background with experience in projects in the Government or Defense Contracting Industry.
Required Skills And Responsibilities
Travel: Not required for daily activities, but probable travel once per quarter.

- High level of scheduling skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient organizational and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Professional Suite
- Experience working and supporting multiple teams.
- Pro-active approach to solving problems.
- Work under general direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand, follow, and build operational processes.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and internal work groups.
- Experience preparing proposals and basis of estimates.
- Program Management Professional qualifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians in defense or aerospace industries.
- Minimum of 1 - 5 years of industry experience as directly supporting or leading project execution of design and development programs.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
