Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Platting Technician in our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and proactive problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, key members of the company, and external customers. This candidate would be expected to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful. Additionally, this candidate will:
- Create designs independently under broad direction from the project supervisor on various design Projects using a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with internal individuals & teams to ensure comments from reviewing agencies are addressed in a timely matter.
- Work within a dynamic, team-focused environment, demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, collaborate with others, problem solve, and perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Five years of experience in Technical Drafting utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and others’ work while maintaining professionalism
- Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple teams, multiple projects, and multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate and/or associate degree in Drafting Technology, Land Surveying, or related
- Ten years of experience in Technical Drafting
- Experience with Land Survey, Survey or Civil Technical Drafting
