Job Description:
The candidate chosen for the Data Analyst position will work with the customer to develop a strategy for identifying, moving, structuring, and transforming data relevant to the internal risk areas.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze data using exploratory and statistical techniques
- Develop, implement, and utilize data systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Develop innovations in data analysis techniques
- Take ownership and accountability for delivery of projects and deliverables
- Shall analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets in the Business Data Repository
- Perform requirements elicitation/gathering (use cases, user stories, system requirements), vetting, and documentation as needed
- Develop data modeling methods.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite(Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Power BI)
- At least 5 years of prior experience in information technology with an emphasis on computer, or information science, or applied mathematics.
- 2 years of experience with Python, JAVA, and R.
Clearance Required:
- Candidate MUST have an Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance
