Part time optician / lab technician for established Mainline optical boutique.
Major responsibilities and duties
- 24 hours a week
- Produce eyewear to highest standards – verifying lens specifications, laying out and blocking lenses, edging and mounting, tinting, drilling, assembling, neutralizing and make eyewear repairs.
- Responsible for operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Some dispensing/sales.
- Some cleaning, filing and other office duties.
- Some Saturday hours.
Qualifications
- ABO Certification preferred
- Self-starter and motivated
- High School diploma required
- Strong communication skills and customer service
- Strong basic math skills
- Organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
