KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of CADD design software, practices and trends.
- Strong proficiency of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other CAD software.
- Proficient using 3D CADD and paperless delivery
- Good Knowledge of Design Standards, Standard Plans and Details
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to effectively work independently and within a team.
- Able to plan tasks and implement action items.
- Able to exhibit a professional demeanor and attitude when interacting with colleagues and clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops, modifies, and/or reviews drawing according to established standards.
- Obtains work assignments of either specific design elements or CADD drafting from Project Manager with an allocated budget – ensure all work has defined budget prior to work being performed.
- Completes special projects as directed by project manager, department head, or principals.
- Provides CADD drafting and design support for Engineers during the planning, design and construction of engineering projects.
- Satisfy client QC requirements for all CADD submittals.
EXPERIENCE:
- Typically three (3) or more years of CADD design experience.
EDUCATION:
- CADD design certificate or degree.
