Facilities Coordinator // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists with creating a clean and safe environment that welcomes attenders. Supports the Facilities Manager by leading teams of staff and volunteers and by overseeing the facility when they are away. Reports to the Facilities Manager.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with Facilities duties including set-up and tear-down for all campus events
- Maintains the function of buildings, furnishings, equipment, and operating systems
- Assists with ensuring safety for attenders and staff
- Leads Facilities staff when the Facilities Manager is away
- Helps to maintain calendar for facilities usage
- Makes suggestions for building, landscape, and parking lot maintenance to Facilities Manager
- Helps to recruit and train Facilities volunteers
- Follows campus emergency procedures and supports staff in the event of an emergency
- Assists in maintaining inventory of custodial supplies, equipment, and furnishings
- Adjusts HVAC and lighting schedules for campus needs
- Distributes daily deliveries
- Other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
- Experience supporting coordination of departmental work activity
- Experience leading staff and/or volunteers
- Physical ability for cleaning and operating cleaning equipment, plus occasional snow removal on sidewalks
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting cleaning and other equipment
- Technical aptitude for operating systems including climate control, alarms, data base, event planning, time keeping, MS Office, performance review, and other tools as assigned
- Must be able to lift and load up to 50 pounds regularly
WORK SCHEDULE
Works a flexible schedule including day and evening hours. Expected to work minimum of 34 weekends per year.
