Our company: Founded in 1948, Eagle Communications is a Kansas based media company with 175 employee owners. The company operates 31 radio stations in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. In addition to radio, the company offers online solutions, web development, video production and creative services- All for the purpose of supporting the communities we serve to grow and remain vibrant.
Eagle is a leader in the industry and the company continues to grow. We made three acquisitions throughout 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to invest in our employees and expand our business. This is a new position on the Manhattan / JC Team as we continue to grow our ability to deliver ever expanding portfolio of digital marketing solutions to our advertising partners.
Who were looking for:
Eagle Communications is looking for an experienced marketing consultant with confidence, drive and creative ideas to sell marketing and advertising concepts to support Manhattan / Junction City area businesses. Eagle operates Q-Country 103.5, Power Hits 97.5, 1420/107.9 KJCK, 92.7 The X, JCPost.com, and LittleApplePost.com in addition to a robust set of Digital Marketing and Advertising solutions including targeted display, OTT, SEO & SEM, social media, Spotify, as well as website design, build and maintenance.
Primary work location will be in Junction City, KS.
Experience:
- Media experience and past success counts for this position
- The candidate must have drive, creativity and quality customer service ability
- Experience working with advertising agencies in addition to direct accounts is a plus.
- Experience with digital marketing solutions a plus
- 3 to 5 years of media experience preferred
- Outside sales experience and/or Bachelor's degree preferred
Requirements:
Candidates should be hard working, goal oriented and self-motivated. An entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record are essential to success. Responsibilities include: contacting businesses to uncover potential advertising opportunities, researching client's industry, presenting proposals and persuading clients to invest in your ideas. Continued client support and servicing is also required. In addition to working with their own clients, Our next employee-owner must have a high acumen of experience with digital marketing products, strategies, and tactics, and will also be our Teams digital point person providing oversight and assistance with all our digital sales and marketing efforts. Salary:
Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid vacation, and employee stock ownership plan.
