What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Vegetation Stewardship Technician position at Eagle County Government?
Hiring Range: $25.26-$29.68. The maximum pay for this position is $34.10.
Do you enjoy working outside in the summer? We are currently hiring experienced and non-experienced Noxious Weed Control Technicians to join the great team at Eagle County.
This position will assist with integrated pest management control methods that include mapping, identifying, spraying, mowing, or other functions associated with pest control. Assists with department programs that include community outreach events, chemical resale, inventory tracking, and other duties as assigned.
Schedule: 4 x 10 hour days: Mon-Thurs, 6am-4:30pm, generally late April to end of September, however, this can be a bit flexible.

Qualifications
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:
- No minimum education is required; education related to Agriculture, Rangeland Management, Natural Resources or related field is preferred.
- Colorado Department of Agriculture Pesticide Application Technician License in an agricultural category preferred.
- At least one (1) season noxious weed management experience is preferred.
- Experience operating light equipment in the construction or trades fields preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
