Maintenance Assistant

Casual Call; Daytime/Weekday Shifts: This person will assist on an as needed basis; this position participates in the on-call rotation.

Maintenance Assistant

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our facility maintenance team at our Riverside Campus in La Crosse. This person would support in the general upkeep of the facility and grounds.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in checking mechanical equipment and perform scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Assist with maintaining required records, documentation, and reports as necessary
• Provide transportation services as needed
• Responsible for storing deliveries, cleaning designated areas, and various other tasks as needed

What You’ll Need

• Some knowledge and skills in maintenance, monitoring equipment, security devices, etc.
• Basic maintenance, electricity, heating, plumbing, and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, lawn equipment, and/or small hand tools strongly preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Our Wages

• Starting wage is between $17.50 and $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• We’ll review your wages at 6 months— we pay more for high performance!
