Project Manager – Buildings & Grounds
Full-Time: 80 hours/two week pay period
Primarily M-F, with ability to flex hours when needed
Project Manager
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Buildings & Grounds Project Manager to work with CEO and Campus Administrators related to strategic buildings and grounds projects and assist campus administrators with training and oversight of their maintenance leaders. This Project Manager will assist at all Eagle Crest Communities, including those in La Crosse, Holmen, and Onalaska, WI.
What You’ll Do
- Project management for new building construction, building remodels, and grounds projects
- Capital budget requests and purchases and oversight of capital projects in all buildings, related to HVAC, plumbing, boiler, electrical, elevators, flooring, safety systems, and equipment, etc
- Contract/contractor oversight for buildings and grounds maintenance, remodel, and projects
- Oversee and schedule preventive maintenance and audit building PM
- Oversee Fire and Life Safety testing, audits, and compliance
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and grounds duties
- Develop & schedule training for maintenance and grounds new hires and on-going maintenance staff development; act as mentor to maintenance leaders and staff
- Oversee maintenance On-Call schedule
- Assist campus leadership with hiring of maintenance leads
What You'll Need
- Degree in related field, e.g. Facilities Management, Construction Management or equivalent experience
- Skills and abilities related to building systems and structures including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, construction and remodeling
- Ability to read and evaluate blue prints and regulations related to construction and remodeling
- Ability to learn and operate within computer programs quickly
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and listening)
- Problem-solving & time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required
