Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and service fire sprinkler and alarm systems per code and manufacturer specs
- Provides documentation of inspections for Company records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity required
- Communicate system issues and required repairs to customers
- Schedule and manage inspection visits with customers, as required
- Maintain and pursue NICET or other required certifications
- Mentor junior techs as needed
- Follow all company safety standards and protocols
- Completes continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for position
- Adheres to ALL Company Standards and Procedures, including the Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard
- NICET Level II in Sprinkler and/or Fire Alarm (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
- 4 years of inspection experience in fire protection
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel and work in varying conditions
- Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Able to operate and efficiently use measuring instruments and gauges and assorted industry related devices
- Able to work while exposed to loud sounds and noise levels
