What are the responsibilities and job description for the Addiction Counselor position at Eagle Healthworks?
Summary: We are seeking an addiction counselor for the Bridgeport/Byesville clinics. The successful candidate will be creative, enthusiastic, collaborative, and unique. Essential Duties:
1. Initial intake, assessment, and ongoing information collection
2. Provide individual therapy and treatment planning
3. Prepare and maintain all required records and reports
4. Provide crisis intervention consultation
5. Internal traffic flow coordination
6. Medication management
7. Education
8. Assist in creating realistic goals toward achieving sobriety
9. Model positive behaviors
10. Perform case management services as needed
11. Clinical documentation
12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and CFR 42 part 2 regulations
13. Participation in meetings and clinical reviews
14. Compliance and involvement in all organizational policies/procedures
15. Compliance with all professional board requirements and code of ethics
Qualifications/Credentials/Education:
Chemical dependency counseling requires one of the following Licensure/Certifications: LICDC/CS, LCDC II/III, CDCA, LISW, LSW, LPCC, , LIMFT, LMFT
