What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at Eagle's Nest Early Learning Center, Inc.?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children.These include but are not limited to:
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program
- Provide adequate materials in advance for all activities
- Ensure equipment and the facility is clean, well maintained, and safe at all times
- Provide weekly and monthly schedules of activities (include songs, rhymes, games, and storytelling)
- Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities
- Develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts
- Be familiar with emergency procedures
- Implement positive discipline when required
- Ensure children are supervised at all times
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance
- Provide a safe environment for all children and allow them to feel comfortable
- Discuss children’s development with parents and guardians
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Center.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
