Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Participate in banquet preparations and assist with food service during events.
- Follow food handling guidelines to ensure safety and quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food handling practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness in a busy kitchen setting.
