Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef for a full-time, on-site role at our Nashville, TN, location. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will oversee daily culinary operations, including leading, mentoring, and supporting the kitchen team. You will manage food preparation, ensure consistency in quality and presentation, uphold food safety standards, and maintain inventory levels. This position also involves collaborating with the Head Chef to plan and execute while fostering a kitchen culture that prioritizes teamwork, learning, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in culinary practices, including food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques
- Leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring kitchen staff
- Knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, and cost management
- Understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary training or certification is preferred but not required
- Experience in innovative, high-end dining environments is a plus
