EarnIn is looking for a Product Experience Writer to shape how our users experience and connect with our product — through clear, helpful, human language. Sitting at the intersection of UX writing and brand storytelling, this role is ideal for a writer who’s passionate about both the copy that guides users and the narratives that inspire them. You’ll partner closely with Marketing and Product to create consistent, thoughtful messaging across the full customer journey — from app flows and onboarding to in-product education, lifecycle messaging, and brand campaigns. You’ll help make financial tools feel more accessible and EarnIn’s mission more meaningful, one word at a time. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $154,000 equity benefits. This is Mountain View-based and will require hybrid work from our headquarters with at least two days in the office per week. Responsibilities include developing and owning product and brand messaging frameworks, collaborating with Product Marketing and Product Design, crafting product copy and UX writing for EarnIn’s app and digital experiences, partnering with the Growth team to create and iterate on high-performing, data-informed creative for paid channels, maintaining and evolving EarnIn’s brand voice guidelines, using performance data and customer insights to optimize messaging strategies, leading messaging for product launches, and staying on top of fintech, personal finance, and consumer behavior trends. Requirements include 5 years of copywriting experience focused on product and brand marketing, strong product storytelling skills, experience working closely with product marketing, brand, creative, growth, and product teams, experience maintaining or evolving brand voice and messaging guidelines, a data-savvy mindset, experience in fast-paced, iterative environments especially in fintech or startups, strong project management skills, proficiency in AI writing tools and testing platforms, and a portfolio showcasing short-form, high-impact marketing and product copy.
