- POSITION SUMMARY
An integral member of a rehab team who all believe in our mission and strive for our clients to reach their best possible clinical and functional outcomes. The responsibilities of this team member include providing onsite athletic training services at affiliation practices, assigned games, and scrimmages. This team member must also be proficient within a rehab clinical setting. This includes being welcoming to patients, assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks to provide high quality treatment, ensuring a clean and neat environment and other office duties. Strong communications skills are required to manage the triage of athletes to physicians, physical therapy, and any other related program. This includes hands-on care as well as utilizing written and verbal communication. This position requires flexibility as coverage needs are variable. The ideal team player will have a strong work ethic, is open minded and highly motivated.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Bachelors Degree
Minimum Experience1-year experience in a either an educational, sports, rehab or medical related field
Required Registration/License/Certification- BLS or HSCPR within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
- Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) through Board of Certification (BOC) by National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA)
- Licensed by the State of Alabama
Preferred Education- Masters in health related field.
Preferred Experience- 1 year experience in an Athletic training role
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- N/A
