What are the responsibilities and job description for the East Bay Prevention Administrative Assistant position at East Bay Regional Coalition?
Overview
Seeking Part-time Prevention Assistant. This position is responsible for providing support to the East Bay Regional Prevention office, which administers substance misuse prevention and health-promoting activities for the towns of Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, and Warren. The ideal applicant will have knowledge and interest in health and prevention, and verbal, written, and computer skills that would allow the applicant to thrive in a dynamic office setting. Approximately 16 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with communications strategies, including copy writing and editing, formatting printed flyers and newsletters, and distribution of printed communications
- Creating PowerPoints and assisting with presentations
- Developing social media and working to ensure social media distribution is effective
- Assisting with reports, copying, and filing documents
- Data entry of survey data into Excel
- Assisting with the coordination of subgrants, creating and maintaining records of grantees
- Assisting with regional and statewide events
- Taking minutes at meetings
This position is grant-funded and limited to the terms, dates, and availability of funding based on said grants.
