The East Central Ohio ESC is seeking an Educational Aide for the Cambridge City Schools Preschool Program.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Educational Aide or ODE permit applicable to the position
- Record free of criminal violations which would prohibit employment in a public school
Job Responsibilities:
The Educational Aide is responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
- Works with small groups and/or individual students according to the teacher’s instructions
- Helps students with a wide range of maturity & developmental levels
- Offers help when students ask or their behavior suggests they need assistance
- Supports an inclusive educational environment and helps students with disabilities participate in appropriate peer group activities as directed
- Supervises non-classroom activities as directed (i.e., arrival/departure, lunch, recess, field trips)
- Performs clerical work related to classroom activities and prepares classroom equipment for use
- Participates in staff meeetings and other conferences as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 34 per week
