What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate - Swing Reach Operator position at East Coast Warehouse & Distribution Corp?
This position is responsible for receiving palletized freight, putting it away in rack using a Swing Reach / Turret Truck Majority of the time is spent on Material Handling equipment. Occasional lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Prepares order to picked up by either customers or trucking companies.
- Pick orders.
- Label boxes.
- Receiving palletized freight, putting it away in rack and shaping the same.
- Majority of the time is spent on Material Handling equipment.
- Occasional lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.
- Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
