What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Clerk/Deli Clerk position at East Dayton Meat and Poultry?
East Dayton Meats is looking to add another retail associate to the team!
We are looking for a reliable and hard working individual. Starting pay for this position is $13.50 an hour. Employees get our products at cost. (think how much that saves you on groceries per month and how that impacts overall compensation!) We offer a Company bonus twice a year and a Christmas bonus. Upon 1 year of employment you get a week paid vacation. We are closed on all Major Holidays, so they are paid days off!
We are looking for someone that is passionate about people and passionate for results. Being a Team Player is a must! To be successful in this role you must be a self motivated and self sufficient individual. This positions requires you to work every other Saturday. Hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm on Monday - Friday and then 7:30pm - 1:00pm every other Saturday.
Responsibilities:
-Provide assistance to customer, take orders, package orders, operate cash register, answer phones, and other tasks as assigned
- Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure all required documentation is complete
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
