Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift
East Jordan Plastics, Inc. is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Lyons, GA facility. The successful candidate will work in a face-paced environment. The use of forklifts for moving materials, semi-trucks for movement of trailers on the grounds, wrapping and tagging products, and taking inventory are just a few of the tasks associated with this role.
Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of Forklift trucks including daily use inspections.
- Demonstrated track record of safe operation of equipment.
- Computerized inventory management systems (ERP such as EPICOR or other)
- Fully familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, etc. Fluent in the use of Excel spreadsheets.
- Sound basic mathematic skills for taking of inventory and calculation of production status.
- Experience completing minor maintenance tasks on dock equipment, doors, etc.
- Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used safely and that all safety devices are in use.
Skills and Abilities
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/parcel shipping
- Must have strong math and troubleshooting proficiency and basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- ERP experience
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
