What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Assistance Technician - Seasonal position at East Missouri Action Agency?
East Missouri Action Agency has an opening for a Seasonal Energy Assistance Technician in St. Francois County. This position is responsible for determining client eligibility for the Low Income Energy Assistance programs, which involve the referral of clients to other agency or community resources. High School diploma or GED is required. Two years of employment in one or more of the following types of work is preferred:
1. Technical or professional work in the fields of social service, social welfare, education, community organization, or related areas, or in business, personnel or public administration involving responsible public contacts.
2. Responsible for clerical work involving frequent public contacts such as credit interviewer, complaint clerk, receptionist (other than routing of office traffic), or related work, responsible persuasive sales work (other than counter sales) . Clerical experience involving the technical aspects of application processing.
Starting pay is $14.34/hour. Medical insurance is available after 60 days. Additional benefits are available upon completion of a successful 90 day trial period.
