Description
In collaboration with patients, families (as defined by the patient) and staff across all disciplines and departments is responsible for managing the business operations, ensuring quality patient care and processes and supervising the staff within a clinical setting. Coordinates supervision of clinic staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Manage all aspects of site operations and clinic support services, including but not limited to, ensuring adequate staffing for patient care, monitoring budgetary compliance and responding timely to patient or employee concerns.
- Lead the site in implementing continuous improvement principles that ensure patient access to up-to-date, evidence-based, quality clinical care.
- Maximize capacity and optimize customer service by analyzing and recommending changes in organizational systems and procedures and ensuring patient satisfaction, clinic flow, quality, and financial and site productivity.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for staff and patients.
- Manage site activities related to federal and state funding sources and grants and ensure compliance with associated rules and regulations.
- Conduct site staff meetings and participate in provider, practice improvement and other meetings as needed.
- Work with ETCC Leadership to design, implement and develop new programs, renovations and expansions related to the site.
- Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the site to include staffing levels, budgets and financial and operating goals and plans and develops systems and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of operations and meet productivity and quality goals.
- Hire and supervise staff in accordance with personnel policies and procedures including orientation and training, providing career development advice, establishing employee goals, conducting performance reviews, coaching, counseling, disciplining staff, and recommending terminations if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure all tasks provided and associated with patient care, patient administrative processes and related duties comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards and ETCC Standard Operating Procedures and ETCC Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and maintain favorable internal relationships, partnerships with co-workers, including clinical managers, clinical support staff, providers, and business office staff.
- Interact respectfully and collaboratively with patients and their families, striving to develop favorable relationships with families.
- Collaborate with all members of the care team in providing patient-centered care.
- Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct and communications always represent ETCC in a highly professional manner.
- Uphold and ensure compliance and attention to all company policies and procedures as well as the overall mission and values of the organization.
- Complete all mandatory training and maintain appropriate credentials/licensure.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical practices, medical records administration, and clinic and physician/patient protocols.
- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution including resource allocation, leadership techniques and production methods.
Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years related experience with at least 1 year in a medical office in a management/supervisory capacity. Additional experience in a healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.
- Demonstrated experience in short and long-term budgeting and forecasting.
- Demonstrated success in directing staff in order to achieve a common goal.
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with tools, technology, and systems typically found within most health care environments (i.e., personal computer skills, spreadsheets, word processing, patient records systems, EMR systems, etc.).
Physical/ Environmental - Constant sitting, standing, and walking.
- Frequent bending and reaching.
- Occasional lifting and pushing.
- A medium to high level of manual dexterity required.
