We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Center Aide to join our Rexburg Head Start team, working with children ages 3 to 5. This is more than just a job-it's an opportunity to be part of something special, helping create a space where children can thrive, learn, and grow every day.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with the lead teacher to create hands-on, exciting learning experiences tailored to preschoolers.
- Foster a welcoming, safe, and nurturing classroom that supports children's emotional and physical well-being.
- Organize engaging activity centers to spark creativity and exploration.
- Jump into playtime with the kids, making learning fun and promoting social development.
- Assist with meals, guiding healthy eating habits.
- Keep the classroom tidy and organized for an optimal learning environment.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional growth.
What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A passion for working with young children (experience is a plus but not required).
- Willingness to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential within 12 months of hire (EICAP covers the cost!).
- Ability to pass a TB screening and physical exam.
- Ready to complete CPR and First Aid training (we've got that covered, too).
