Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is excited to announce that it is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Baseball Coach. The position of Assistant Baseball/ Pitching Coach is a part-time .49 FTE, 9-Month position in the Athletics Department and reports directly to the Head Baseball Coach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of prospective student-athletes; development of the team/players by coaching; travel coordination; monitoring academic performance; and building positive social skills. This position will also perform administrative duties; assist with summer camp responsibilities; and other duties as assigned.
The Assistant Baseball Coach Assists the head coach in all facets of the program to develop an elite NAIA Baseball program that will be competitive and advance the team in competition, academics, and in the community. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess the ability to lead, teach and coach student-athletes in a challenging environment as well as building a strong and successful team culture.
