Position Opening – Respite Coordinator
Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is seeking a highly organized, self-starter who is interested in joining our Community Outreach Program team as a Respite Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be interested in making connections and forming partnerships in the community to promote and expand Easterseals Respite Programs for caregivers. Responsibilities include raising awareness and supporting operation of the current Respite Programs, developing and initiating new respite programming, and recruiting and managing respite volunteers. Qualifications:
- Clear, effective communicator in both oral and written formats
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
- Good organization and time management skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
- Experience working with caregivers
- Understanding of respite services
