Reports to: Assistant General Manager / Clubhouse Manager

Employment Status: Seasonal

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt


Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of The Shuttle Driver at Eastward Ho! Country Club is to utilize company-issued vehicles to drive passengers between places, mainly to transport employees to and from their Club arranged housing accommodation and work. The driver may also be scheduled as the parking lot attendant and work within Club's grounds with Golf Carts to transport Members and guests to and from their vehicles to the Clubhouse, and are responsible for the maintenance of the Club owned vehicles. The driver may also be assigned to other special pickup/deliveries as needed.

Currently hiring to begin mid-March/early April


Requirements


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


1. Utilize Club provided vehicle to pickup and drop-off employees to and from their club assigned housing accommodation and work.

2. Complete Manager assigned delivery and pickups as needed.

3. Ensure adherence to predetermined locations, passenger limits, both seated and standing.

4. Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible.

5. Maintain constant communication with manager.

6. Record and report all major accidents and incidents to your supervisor.

7. Check that passengers disembark at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner.

8. Ensure that the shuttle vehicle is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.

9. Perform Locker Room Attendant duties as necessary when assigned.

10. Assist Housekeeping when needed.

11. Act as parking lot attendant when needed.

12. Observing all relevant traffic and safety laws.



Qualifications:


Applicants must have a valid US Driver’s License and a clean driving history; must have a good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, and must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts.


Individuals should be mature, and interact well with other people. First Aid training is preferred.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work and must be fluent in English and work well not only independently but also within a team.
