We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing Accounts Receivable, and payroll. The Bookkeeper’s responsibility is to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of eat well.
This is a part-time role, on site targeted at 25 – 30 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Hours can be flexible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Execute bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of bank statements against company records
- Record journal entries to reflect all business transactions accurately.
- Assist in maintaining organized financial documents and records for easy access and review
- Process and schedule bill payments and contractor disbursements
- Work with Accountant to compile documentation for year-end taxes and other filings
- Monitor insurance renewals, licensing, and compliance deadlines
- Assist with document organization and basic admin support
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is required
- Proficiency in using financial software ideally QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, (love organized chaos)
