Plant HR Manager
We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our Human Resources team at Eaton's Power Components Division in Beaver, PA.
Job Summary:
This is an on-site position located at our manufacturing facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $123,750 - $181,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Primary Function:
As an integral part of the site's leadership team, you will focus on working with a unionized workforce to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and fostering positive labor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive organizational change and deploy HR policies, practices, and programs to build organizational capability
- Shape our culture to be trusting and inclusive, and ensure we have the best talent to execute on our strategy
- Work with division leadership, functional leaders, and site managers to align human resources programs and initiatives with key business, financial, and employee engagement objectives
- Counsel and influence leadership regarding policies, practices, laws, and regulations
- Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading/coaching others through change
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment with prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis now and in the future
- Strong knowledge of relevant local/state/federal employment laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to develop business partnership across diverse groups and functions
- Commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial/Organization Psychology from an accredited institution and/or HR certification
- Prior labor relations experience
- Prior experience with talent management and organization effectiveness tools with a professional salaried workforce
Skills:
- Experience and proficiency performing advanced analytics in Excel and other tools
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and leverage resources as needed
- Demonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumen
- Excellent facilitation/coaching skills
- Strong employee relations skills with the proven ability to drive change and leadership ownership/accountability
