What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift position at Eaton?
Eaton’s B-Line division is currently seeking a Three Gratings Press Brake Operator to join our 2nd Shift team. This position is based at our Pinckneyville, IL facility.
This is a direct, full-time position that offers full benefits the day you start. In addition to Eaton’s competitive benefits, Eaton offers a salary of $15.55 / hour and $0.40 / hour Shift Differential.
Shift Hours: 3:30PM-12AM M-F

In this function you will:
- Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
- Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers etc.
- Inspect completed work pieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results and complete inspection log.
- Read work orders to determine specifications.
- Test and adjust machine using gauges and hand tools.
- Install, and align punches, dies or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims and hand tools.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL in order to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship
Preferred qualifications:
- Press brake operating experience
- Prior assembly experience
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
Position Criteria:
- Obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
