Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Water Spider (1st Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $21.63/hr per hour.

What You’ll Do
The Water Spider will be responsible for material movement to the production lines and inventory locations. This role will perform a full range of activities across Shipping and Receiving. Primary focus is to support direct production activities and allowing production personal to focus on value- added work.

What You’ll Do
The Water Spider will be responsible for material movement to the production lines and inventory locations. This role will perform a full range of activities across Shipping and Receiving. Primary focus is to support direct production activities and allowing production personal to focus on value- added work.
- Responsible for root cause analysis and locating missing parts for job orders
- Ensure materials are supplied to proper areas on the manufacturing floor
- Ability to verify incoming materials, pull parts to pick
- Work autonomously without direct supervision
- Effective use M2M systems and other basic computer applications
- Count items for verification and indicates discrepancies
- Operate forklift and electrical pallet jack as needed.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Richmond, VA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

- Two years experience in a warehouse environment
- Prior experience with Microsoft applications
- Lean and/or Six Sigma experience is preferred
- Ability to use computer systems including M2M, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
