Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso bar and fresh juice bar products
- Clean and stock deli cases according to procedure and signage.
- Maintain working knowledge of Coffee recipes and prepared foods.
- Operate cash register, follows all front end and cash accountability procedures.
- Assist in opening and/or closing of the café.
- Greet all customers with a friendly smile.
- Initiate rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
- Generate customer satisfaction; respond appropriately to customer concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous coffee or Barista experience or similar position
- 1 year experience in customer service
- Operate calmly and proactively in stressful situations
- Able to work independently.
- Able to lift 20 lbs, push/pull carts up to 40 lbs.
- Able to speak, read, write, and understand English
