JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN ACTIVITY COORDINATOR!
Job Overview:
Responsible for assessing and providing quality services and meaningful activities for residents based on individual assessments.
Customer Service: Follow the MOSES principles: Mission, Ownership, Success, Excellence, and Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center’s values and mission.
- Plan, organize, and monitor individual and group activities for residents.
- Research and implement new programs tailored to residents’ needs.
- Adapt activities for dementia residents based on their abilities and interests.
- Collaborate with administration and other departments to coordinate services.
- Maintain and order activity materials, ensure safety, and provide documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, assist with Resident Council, and support family and community events.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in geriatrics, special populations, and recreation activities preferred.
- Ability to manage time, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude.
Physical Demands: Must be able to push/pull up to 250 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Conditions: Position requires working in-person with variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
