Managed by Ebenezer, Towerlight offers breathtakingly appointed units for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and state-of-the art Memory Care and Enhanced Care Suites, and our Intergenerational child care center.
We are looking for an Assistant Child Care Director who will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support, general office management and support for staff and families.
This position includes:
- 80 hours in two weeks
- Monday- Friday!

Supports Child Care Director in providing leadership and supervision to staff
Establishes and supports an environment conducive to the provision of quality services and high level customer satisfaction
Monitors Budget, financial activities, and maintains accurate financial records
Monitors maintenance of the center and playground and provides feedback and direction to appropriate staff, as necessary
Supports a marketing plan aimed at full occupancy
Ensures site is in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations
Performs other duties as required by the specific child care center
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED must be obtained within 90-days of hire
Basic computer skills: MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets & database management.
Preferred:
Minimum Three Years –leadership role at licensed child care center
