Overview

We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Living Community. This nutrition services position includes;
- 21 hours every two weeks
- Part time early evening shifts; 4PM - 7PM
- Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description
- Trains new staff on proper procedures
- Checks the daily task sheets for completion. Refers any incomplete tasks to the Chef/Culinary Director
- Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
- Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
- Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
- Assists with meal prep and special events
- Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
- Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
Qualifications
- No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
Salary : $17 - $20
