What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Resident Assistant position at Ebenezer?
We are looking for a Lead RA to join our team in Wayzata, MN! This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing. This direct care schedule includes;
- 48 hours every two weeks
- Part time, Evening shift
- Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts
- Provides health-related services as directed
- Performs specified home services
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
- Acts as main trainer for Resident Assistants
- Assist the Director of Health Services with Resident Assistant staffing assignments
- Assist the Director of Health Services with administrative duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned and directed
Required:
- Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting
- Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
- CNA certificate required if under 18
Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines
Preferred:
- High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course
- One to three years of previous experience
