Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $17 to $22. All Wage determinations will be based on relevant experience.
We are seeking a Medication Aide to support our residents in our Senior Assisted Living/Memory Care Facility in Naples, FL. This role is responsible for providing resident care and services including administration of medication under the direction of the nurse.
Th medication aide position includes;

Responsibilities/Job Description
- Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of care
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear, concise manner
- Maintain order and cleanliness in residents rooms and other work areas
- Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Follows all shift routines regarding measuring of vital signs, weights, and administration of medications and treatments
- Dispenses meds using the right route, medication, resident time, and dose
- Maintains an awareness of actual and potential side effects, adverse reactions, contraindications and purposes of medications
- Maintains a clean medication cart
Qualifications
Required:
- Completion of required training and meet the state requirements for Medication Administration with a Med Tech Certificate from the State of FL
- Completion of Refresher Course each year if Med Tech Certificate is not from current year
Preferred:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 0-1 years of experience
- Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
- Ability to communicate effectively with insight and kindness for others
- Experience working in a patient support role (HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant)
- Work experience in a customer service setting
