POSITION DETAILS:
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 4:30PM - 12AM
Hourly Rate: $18.50
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, performs routine cleaning and maintenance duties in an assigned area within a commercial building, office, or manufacturing setting to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standard for everyone within the facility. This position will regularly engage in cleaning and disinfecting as assigned by the client which will include but not be limited to mopping, sweeping, dusting, laundry, and other cleaning related duties.
DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
- Set assignments for the team and follow up with job completion
- Empty all trash receptacles
- Check and re-stock restrooms
- Dry mop, dust, touch up and other light housekeeping
- Deep clean all bathrooms
- Vacuuming of carpets
- Deep cleaning of the library and kitchenets on both floors
- Remove trash, mop, sweep and clean chairs and tables of café room
- Dusting and disinfect equipment, furniture, and/or fixtures, etc...
- Stoking of supplies throughout
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- Experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals, supplies and methods used in office cleaning.
- Must be able to complete a background check and a drug test
- At least 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
