Entry Level PC Technician Needed- Long Term Temporary

We are searching for “Entry Level Computer Technician” candidates of all skill levels, who are eager and have a strong / fast-paced work ethic. The selected Computer Technicians will be responsible for assisting with projects in Rosenberg and Houston, TX areas. We are seeking IT professionals with the following skills & qualifications:

Monday thru Friday, 8am - 5pm

Abilities:

• Preferred: Comptia A Cert and/or an Associates/Bachelors in the computer field.
• Preferred: 2 years of business professional experience as a computer technician.
• Added Plus: Working knowledge of graphics software i.e.Corel Draw, Adobe, etc. (create etching templates)
• Added Plus: Ability to Drive up to a 26 foot Box truck

Skill Sets or Tasks That Will Be Performed :

• Ability to follow directions and comprehend / follow a detailed work script.
• Great Work Ethic, attention to detail and punctual
• Adhere to Company and Customer Policies / Regulations
• Ability To Pass a Comprehensive Background Check and Drug Screening Process
• Have Reliable Transportation
• Working Knowledge of Excel, Word, and other MS Office Apps
• Imaging, data migration, troubleshooting of computer systems.
• Naming a computer and joining a computer to a domain.
• Asset Tagging/Reporting
• Enrolling and provisioning Chromebooks.
• Connect computers correctly with different configurations..
• Wiring and / or Assembly of Chromebook or Mobile Charging Carts.
• Cable management.
• Ability to unload the delivery truck and deploy equipment as needed at worksite
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. several times during a Work Day.
• Able to stoop, bend and kneel repetitively during a Work Day
• Carrying/lifting/unloading boxes, removing equipment from boxes, and installation trash removal.
• Work out of the Rosenberg Config Center/Warehouse and Houston surrounding areas.
• Work on Occasional Out of Town Projects

Start Date: ASAP - End of September 2024 Possibly Longer
Work Days: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: Rosenberg, TX & Houston (Local candidates only)

● Attire must be clean and pressed.

● Acceptable attire includes a collared shirt (polo style or button down shirt); khakis, Dockers or similarly styled pants, and hard soled shoes such as loafers.

● Unacceptable attire includes, but is not limited to, torn or soiled clothes of any kind, blue jeans (or denim-like material), T-shirts, sunglasses, hats, and tennis or jogging shoes.

● No visible body piercing or tattoos.
