Senior Project Developer - Subject Matter Expert - Philadelphia
Salary range $165K/yr to $190K/yr

My client is a leading global independent Energy-as-a-Service provider, offering free energy savings assessments, guaranteed savings, fixed price proposals, funding solutions, and are experts in building automation. They are looking for a Sr Project Developer - SME full-time employee to work hybrid at their Philadelphia office. The SME needs to be the technical authority in one or more engineering disciplines, providing leadership across solution development, innovation, and major pursuits. Supports strategic accounts and ensures alignment of technical standards across the engineering portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide portfolio-wide technical oversight and subject matter leadership.
- Lead strategic solution development and complex technical modeling.
- Support executive client engagement and proposal strategy.
- Develop and maintain my client’s engineering standards and best practices.
- Mentor senior developers and engineers to build organizational capability.
Core Competencies:
- Deep technical expertise in HVAC, controls, renewables, or MEP systems.
- Leadership in innovation, risk assessment, and design strategy.
- Portfolio-level performance accountability.
- Executive-level communication and client influence.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; MBA or PE preferred.
- 15 years in ESCO, performance contracting, or energy infrastructure sectors.
